For the tourist South Africa has much to offer: breath-taking Game Reserves with the „Big five”, fantastic beaches, mountains and numerous deserts, in addition, world metropolises, diamonds and gold.

Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban lure with shopping centres, numerous points of interest, and museums.

The coastline is over 2500 km long, connecting two oceans, the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. The most southern point of South Africa is Cape Agulhas. Here both the oceans meet.

The Gardenroute extends along the Indian Ocean from the small industrial place Mossel Bay up to the delta of the Storms River – the name stands for a sumptuous, green landscape. Preferential travel time for the Gardenroute begins in September/October and ends in February/March. The calendar of South Africa registers 250 sun days.

The climate and the vegetation of the country are very varied: from subtropical climate in the southeast to desert in the Kalahari up north.

South Africa has a total area of more than 1 million square kilometres and a population of approximately 47 million inhabitants: 30 million black people from different cultures, 5 million white people, 4 million coloured people and 1 million people of Indian origin – therefore often called: „Country of the rainbow “.

The road system in South Africa is perfect and the first-class hotels have a high, European standard.
A dream country, which is worth a journey again and again.
